Kanaya, I had hoped to contact you under different circumstances than these.
As I am certain you are aware of by now, the "scientists" here have decided that the two of us were perfectly suited to swap bodies.
Aside from the awkward situation this poses, I do have to concede that they were probably right.
At least insofar as being able to cope with a sudden change in species.
I probably should have started with this as you have likely woken up with my hangover, but there is a jug of "tomato juice" in the fridge.
Pour yourself a glass and ignoring the taste drink it.
Follow this up with a glass of water and a meal and you should be both free of a hangover and sober.
Now, back to the change in species and my being able to adapt.
I have spent a rather lot of time with your future self and thus have the knowledge of what being a rainbow drinker entails.
That being said, I need to know when the last time you drank was and whether you think I will need to feed at some point this week.
If that is the case, I will take it upon myself to offer my own blood to the cause.
Unless that would make you uncomfortable.
In which case, I suppose I will need your assistance in finding someone else whose body and current occupant are both willing.

Feeding has always been a little bit intimate, even more so in recent months when Roxy started to volunteer for her. But Kanaya has never been one to let discomfort stop her from doing what needs to be done. Besides, it would be far better to get it handled now before the hunger starts. Kanaya's sure that a part of her own reaction to it is social... but Rose's experiences with the hunger of a rainbow drinker mean that she'd likely have a similar result.]
